The bread bag is the ideal way of storing your fresh sourdough or other loaves. When you put the bread in a plastic bag the bread crust becomes soft and doughy. In the bread bag, it keeps its crunchy crust. The bag is beautiful both for serving and storage. It is made of unwashed linen, after its first wash it will gain a lovely coarse washed linen feeling.
The bag is sewn to fit half a normal large levain after the first wash, it shrinks about 5-10%.
